First garden weeding and planting

Today I dug out chickweed and other weeds from the vegetable gardens.  Spread compost on the vegetable garden.

Arugula, cilantro, spring onions, and some lettuce overwintered and ready to harvest.  Oregano and chives sprouting in the herb garden.

Signs of Spring

Daffodils in the yard are starting to bloom. A few in the far back and under the front spruce tree.  A couple of tete a tetes. More buds starting to open.  Snow drops, hellebore, yellow honeysuckle, and witch hazel blooming since the beginning of February.  Crocus blooming for last couple of weeks.
